This is a brand that I never came across before. I saw these shirts made for boys at Target stores. After looking, it turns out that Shaun White is an American Olympic athlete of skateboarding and snowboarding and obviously there is a line of clothing now. Here is more on Shaun White.These are made in Bangladesh and looks and feels comfortable.

Nabisco Butter Cookies

Very yummy cookies made by Nabisco in Bangladesh. These cookies are available all over Bangladesh as well as Indian and Bangladeshi stores overseas.

Oshkosh B'Gosh Girl's Winter Jacket

I am back and sorry for no post in a long time. I have been going around, finding and taking pictures of products made in Bangladesh the last few months but just never had the chance to post them here.

Well winter is in full swing in northern hemisphere and all the kids need new jacket as they grow out of them quickly from the winter before. Oshkosh makes nice jackets and this pink one is no exception. These are sold in variety of retail stores in North America.

Rock & Republic Men's Jeans

Rock & Republic has been a high-end designer jeans brand since 2002 but it has gone into financial trouble and finally made some long-term deals with Kohl's store where they now sell their jeans. This used to be high-end but now moderately priced over $60. I bought this slim fit pair at Kohl's and really like it. It has held up well and is very comfortable. Of course, these are made in Bangladesh and made with quality.

Calvin Klein Men's V-Neck T-Shirt

Yes this has got to be one of the most popular and recognized brands. Actually, it's one of my favorites too. I am sure there are lot of Calvin Klein brand clothing that are made in Bangladesh but I never got a chance to take a picture. I was looking for white v-neck t-shirts for me at TJMaxx and there I found these. I hope to find more of this brand to put in my blog here.

Marc Anthony Men's Powder Blue Dress Shirt

The fabric is very and and the powder blue color looks sharp with dress pants. This is from the slim fit line which is popular now. I really like their shirts and how it fits. The make of this is fabulous - fine cutting and stitching. You can only buy them at Kohl's stores. I am finding more and more Marc Anthonys made in Bangladesh which of course makes me happy and proud. 

Soul Dance Men's T-Shirt

Another Bnagladeshi brand is Soul Dance. I have been to their retail store on Road 11 in Banani and that may be the only one in the city. They have nice variety of clothing that are youthful and trendy. This t-shirt is vibrant color with nice blue stripes and it goes really well with blue jeans.

Gerber Sleep n Play

If you have kids, you ought to know the brand Gerber. This is probably the most popular brand for newborn kids. I have used many sets like this for my own kids but never noticed one made in Bangladesh. I have a feeling that they recently started making these in Bangladesh. Excellent quality and absolute must for newborns.

Louis Raphael Men's Dress Pants

Most of the dress pants that I see are either made in China, Vietnam or India among few other countries. I glad to see Bangladeshi products in this category. I saw this pair of men's dress pants made by Louis Raphael a while back at a retail store. I will look for more dress pants by other brands that are made in Bangladesh and post here soon.

Michael Kors Men's Dress Shirt

Michael Kors is a very popular fashion designer based in New York. Both Men's and Women's clothing and accessories are made by Michael Kors. These are also sold in high end retailers. Obviously, this is high quality fabric and also well made. This particular piece is a Men's dress shirt that looks really sharp with dress slacks or jeans.

Eddie Bauer Women's Vest

Eddie Bauer is am American clothing store chain that was established way back in 1920. I personally don't wear that brand but it is very popular. I don't think I ever covered this brand here but I found this women's "goose down" cream polyester vest size that is made in Bangladesh. They also make men's clothing and I promise if I see one at the stores, I will cover it here.

Genuine Kids from Oshkosh Jacket

I am sure you have heard of Oshkosh B'gosh brand. Oshkosh created a special line of clothing brand named "Genuine Kids" just for Target retail stores. I didn't know that until I found this kid's jacket at a Target store. This brand obviously not as expensive as Oshkosh brand clothing line. I am not sure if I really like this rather raggedy looking jacket but just wanted to introduce the brand that is of course made in Bangladesh.

Nike Boy's T-Shirt

"Coming soon to a field near you" - I found this at Boston Store retail store. Comfortable and cool looking t-shirt for boys. There were many more like these with different taglines. I bet you can find them at other stores as well.

Mirch Masala Aloo Puri

I just came back after long day of work and having tea with Aloo Puri. These are those frozen kind that you just open and fry before serving. They also have Daal Puri like these in Indian stores in North America. The brand "Mirch Masala" obviously sounds Indian and I assumed it was made in India. I was very surprised when I checked the box and found that this was made in Bangladesh! My kids finished the first box of 24 in just minutes. These are yummy!!!

Van Heusen Studio Men's Shirt

Very nice shirt and unique one from Van Heusen Studio collection. I am not sure where I snapped this picture in my phone but I know that these are sold in almost all major retailers across the world. This is modern fit but I find Van Heusen makes their modern fir a little roomier than other brands. If you find modern fits too tight for your choice, I bet you will be happy with Van Heusen Studio collection. This is of course finely made in Bangladesh.

Jockey T-Shirt

Another new brand that I found today. Well, actually everybody knows about this brand and I have known about this for years but I found a product of this brand made in Bangladesh. I snapped a picture of it at a Kohl's Retail Store. You can also find these at any major retailers across the world. I personally prefer the v-neck t-shirts but most popular are these classic round neck versions.

Here is a background on the company - Jockey International, Inc. is a manufacturer, distributor and retailer of underwear, sleepwear for men, women, and children. The company is based in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Surprisingly Jockey is a recognized trademark brand in 120 countries - wow, that is almost majority of the countries of the world!

Next time you wear a Jockey t-short, check out where it's made and you maybe surprised to find that they are also made in Bangladesh! 

A|X Armani Exchange T-Shirt

I am always happy when I can find a new brand that I never covered here. I just found A|X Armani Exchange branded t-shirt. This is part of the Armani brand but considered as the more accessible Armani brand if you know what I mean. In the States, you can buy these at Nordstrom, Macy's etc. I am sure you can also buy these online.

SQUARE Adovas Cough Syrup

Lot of people don't that Bangladesh's pharmaceutical industries is one of the most developed and hi-tech sectors of the country. Over 90% of the country's pharmaceutical needs are met by local manufacturers. Many of these manufacturers are already exporting to other markets in the world. I will share a personal experience with one of their meds. I was traveling to Bangladesh and had several cold and cough medicine with me from the States.
