Old Navy Boy's Sweatshirt

This is of course at the Old Navy retail outlet. Bright red in color and very comfortable to wear in cool weather - made with care and perfection in Bangladesh of course. I don't think I have posted many items of the Old Navy brand before. Actually Old Navy is owned by another well known brand, Gap, Inc.

Nike Baseball Cap

Nike gets the first post of the new year 2016. I am hoping to post in a more regular basis than last year.

This is actually one of my caps that I bought in Bangladesh. Very nice looking canvas baseball cap with "Just Do It" punchline from Nike. This is of course well-made because I have worn this for years now and still in a very good shape.

Armani Jeans Shoes

Bangladesh makes most of the shoes for the local consumers. It may not be one of big exporters of footwear but the footwear export has doubled in 2010-2013 and it continues to grow. Footwear export was roughly US$ 40 million in 2004 and it has grown to roughly $US 400 million in 2013.

Here is one of the export that I found browsing the web. This a suede leather loafer type men's shoes made for the Armani Jeans brand.

Crown Cement

I didn't realize that we are exporting cements from Bangladesh until saw an ad on NTV today. See the image of one of their products - Crown Portland Composite Cement. Yes, Crown Cement is one of the major exporters of cement from Bangladesh. Their major export market is parts of India and I am sure it will be matter of time before it reaches other markets soon.

Columbia Men's Interchange Jacket

Very popular American outerwear and sportswear company. They are the largest seller of ski apparel in America. This is a vibrant red color jacket that I saw at Boston Store retailer. Columbia is sold in many retailers across the world so I am sure you can find these in any major ones near you. This is the first Columbia brand made in Bangladesh that I came across. I will definitely look for more now that I know Bangladesh makes clothing for the company.

Nova Satkora Pickle

Delicious Satkora pickle by Nova to go with your food. If you know anyone from the Sylhet region of Bangladesh, ask them about Satkora and they will tell you all about it. If you want to learn more about this fruit, check out Satkora at Wikipedia. I have finished this jar and I have to tell you that Nova made a very good tasting product here. You can buy these at Bengali/Bangladeshi/Indian stores in Americas and Europe. These are of course available all over Bangladesh.

Croft & Barrow Men's Dress Shirt

Croft & Barrow dress shirt at Kohl's department store. This is classic fit if that's what you prefer. I may have snapped this pic a while back so they have more updates style, pattern and fabric I am sure.
