Reebok Chicago Bears NFL Football Cap

I don't really wear caps so I never really checked into those to see if I can find some that are made in Bangladesh. However, I was looking in eBay and found this authentic NFL Football cap for Chicago Bears and they are indeed made in Bangladesh. The brand is Reebok and from the picture, it appears to be well-made. I will for sure look into stores now to see if I can find more caps that are made in Bangladesh.

Walton Primo G2 Mobile Phone

Walton brand owned by R.B Group of Industries is a conglomerate based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It comprises numerous subsidiaries and affiliated businesses, most of them united under the Walton brand. Walton Mobile is one of them and they are making Android based smartphones. I saw this at a friend's house that just brought this from Bangladesh. Since these are unlocked phones, these can be purchased in Bangladesh and taken overseas to use with local SIM cards. Lot cheaper than buying phones overseas. Hopefully, we will see these in retail stores all over the world soon.

Here is the official website for Walton.

Marc Anthony Men's Dress Shirt

The Marc Anthony Collection is an American lifestyle brand created by American recording artist Marc Anthony that is sold exclusively at Kohl's department stores and at Kohls.com. I have clothing, shoes and accessories at Kohl's of this brand. I have never seen one made in Bangladesh but this one that I ran across at a Kohl's store proved that wrong. I will have to look to see if I find more items of this brand that's made in Bangladesh. Most of the Marc Anthony brand items that I see are a bit pricier compared to other brands at Kohl's but they are really fashionable.

Aarong Handicraft Dancer Doll

There are many varieties of these dancing dolls that are fully handcrafted. These dolls are in various classical (Bharatnatyam type) dance positions and as usual in vibrant colored sarees. This one is yellow, red with silver trim. Many daughters are very much into Bharatnatyam and they always play with these even though we bought these as decorations. You can buy them in any of the Aarong outlets in Bangladesh. However, you may not find this exact one but you will definitely find a variation of this.

If you are not sure where Aarong outlets are located, checkout their website for more information.

Yellow Punjabi

Yet another brand from Bangladesh. I first went to their showroom at the Pink City Mall. It really has very unique styles and caters to fashion conscious customers. It reminded me of Express or Banana Republic brands. I was gifted a very cool looking stripped orange Punjabi for Eid. I wore it with Kurta Pajama but it would also look very nice with Jeans or Khakis. I read more about the brand and it turns that it is a venture from Beximco group. Here is their facebook page:

Western Marine Shipyards EMSTIDE & EMSWAVE

Ship building continues to hold great prospect for Bangladesh for small to mid-size ocean going vessels. South Korea is the largest ship building nation in the world now but they are busy building the biggest ships that leaves a great opportunity for Bangladesh for smaller ships.

German based shipping line “Grona Shipping” took the the delivery of two vessels from Western Marine Shipyards Ltd in Chittagong on 29 July 2011. The vessels EMSTIDE & EMSWAVE are the third among six pairs of 5200 DWT “Ice Class”- vessels. They will soon sail in the North and Baltic Sea and are equipped to sustain extremely cold (cyrogenic) weather conditions. The ships are certified by Germanischer Lloyd.

Ruchi Muri (Puffed Rice)

If you like your Muri (Puffed Rice) really crispy and fresh, you will have to try one of several Bangladeshi brands and Ruchi is definitely one of them. These are best if you make Jhalmuri with them or simply eat them as is. I also like to scrape off a little bit of Khejurer Gur (Molasses) with Muri and eat them as snack. I am sure you have your own way of eating Muri - try these and you will love it.
